The Office of Curriculum and Academic Policy is establishing a new team representing the next step in high end Digital Learning, Interaction Design and Media Production/Development at Murdoch. The team is being established as a project team with plans to evolve the service over time into an ongoing capability.
The team has an exciting a challenging agenda for 2017 with project deliverables including the design of multiple educational modules for delivery on a range of internal and external digital platforms.
To lead on the provision of educational design, technical production and support for Murdoch University’s high quality, online learning programs. The role will provide leadership and expert advice in educational development, learning design and future pedagogies to enhance the delivery of online learning programs.

Skills and Experience
A postgraduate qualifications or progress towards postgraduate qualifications and extensive relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience in learning design, resource development and production and/or education/training.
Extensive experience in digital learning design, delivery and evaluation of webinars, modules and workshops for the development of tertiary pedagogies in the area of online learning.
Proven experience in leading, influencing and supporting collaboration between academic subject matter experts and media development specialists to conceptualise, design and evaluate University curriculum for a variety of digital platforms.
Demonstrated ability to use both creativity and initiative in resolving learning design problems through the application of digital pedagogies.
Exceptional organisational, time and workload management evidenced in experience working under broad direction to facilitate multiple simultaneous design
