The Office of Development sits within the directorate of Advancement and works to link leading businesses, individuals and community minded groups to opportunities at Murdoch University. Fundraising is a key priority for the Office of Development as the support of philanthropists, corporate donors and other funding bodies enables Murdoch University to pursue excellence in research and teaching.
The Planned Giving Officer is responsible for the development and implementation of a comprehensive bequest and planned giving program for the University to increase the number and value of new and active regular donors and bequestors. An important aspect of the role will be your ability to develop and nurture relationships with bequestors and donors to increase income for the University in support of the University’s Strategic Plan.

Skills and Experience
Tertiary qualification and/or minimum 3-5 years’ fundraising experience.
Extensive experience in external client management with a strong focus on organisational relationships and reputation.
Demonstrated experience in strategically planning fundraising projects including funding plans, identification of revenue streams, communication planning, partnership management, reporting and production of marketing and promotional materials.
Demonstrated understanding of complex organisational structures and experience working with, and in, committees and working groups.
