The School of Education is one of five Murdoch disciplines ranked in the world’s top 1% (QS University Rankings). We are globally connected, with a diverse academic staff and student profile. Research in our School falls into three categories: Learning and Teaching; Curriculum; and Contexts and Systems. This role requires the ability to lead and inspire current and future high performers within a supportive and inclusive School culture. Additionally, this role requires an innovative and creative approach to aligning teaching and research efforts to the Murdoch University Strategic Plan. Furthermore, international research excellence is required in at least one of the following area:
Integrated STEM Education | Innovative Future Learning Environments | Wellbeing and Education | Teacher Education

Skills and Experience
The successful candidate will be able to provide evidence of
A PhD in an area relevant to appointment, plus extensive relevant experience
Experience in academic leadership including a record of building successful teams and driving performance in a large, complex organisational environment
A record of accomplishment in producing high quality independent research outputs, including high impact publications with international influence
A track record of success in attracting research funding that has international impact
