The School of Psychology and Exercise Science encompasses two disciplines. The discipline of psychology has research strengths in social, developmental, cognitive neuroscience and psychological medicine, as well as postgraduate programs (PhD, DPsych, Clinical and Professional). Psychology is keen to develop synergies with its sister discipline of Exercise Science (exercise physiology, biomechanics, rehabilitation and sports science).
We are looking for a talented academic who is keen to join our team within the School of Psychology and Exercise Science in the role of Associate Professor. Key to this role is a desire to train a new generation of psychologists, as well as contribute to research that improves practice while delivering a service to our community. Although any area of psychology will be considered, an interest and expertise in cognitive neuroscience or health psychology is especially welcome.

Skills and Experience
A PhD in an area relevant to the appointment.
Demonstrated experience in teaching in the discipline at the undergraduate and postgraduate level.
Demonstrated ability to engage in independent research, with an established record of scholarly publications.
Demonstrated success in supervising honours, postgraduate and HDR students.
Well-developed interpersonal skills, past success in working effectively as a member of an interdisciplinary and collegial team, and the ability to take on a leadership role at the School level.
